Today was a meet up with the Redondo Beach Photography group. These meets are the best. We ventured to Bolsa Chica Refuge. This is a great bird photography location as you can get very close to the birds.

La Jolla Trip

I travelled to La Jolla, CA today to take photos of Pelicans with their mating plummage. This is a great locations to get close and take great photos. There were many photographers there doing the same thing.

Lifeguard Rescue at Sunset

High surf brought many people to the beach. One numbskull decided to jump off the pier. This photo captures the crowd on the pier and the lifeguard monitoring the situation.














Two lifeguards reached him and start dragging him to shore. A lifeguard rescue boat approaches to offer assistance.

They made it safely to shore and the welcome of the fire department rescue crew.
Talk about being at the right place at the right time. A beach sunset shoot turns into a rescue photo op. Let's see if any of these get published.
