Warm easterly winds brought high clouds most of the day. As the sun was setting, I made my way to the beach to record the event.
For an April evening, this was a really great sunset. Usually by now, there are not many clouds hanging around close to sunset. It is always clear skies all day long.
Our photo club contest assignment this month was flowers. I waited for the longest time hoping a rain storm would blow in and make my job easier. It never happened.
I hunted around the neighborhood and settled on these two flowers to submit for the contest.
My good friend, Jack, lent me his 400mm f/2.8 lens with a 2X convertor. The closeups I took of the moon are really spectacular. This lens is most amazing.
